Country Bookshelf is a women-led bookstore in downtown Bozeman. It was founded in 1957 with the mission: "Country Bookshelf is a space for cultural growth and community. Our goal is to support the cultural, social, and economic health of Bozeman and the greater Gallatin Valley." It is a two-floor store with hand-selected volumes. The staff is knowledgeable, passionate, energetic, and caring, and they strive to create "...a space where everyone is treated justly and thoughtfully, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, or ability." If you ever find yourself in Bozeman, I highly suggest a visit!
